Privacy

PodCrate stores the email you sign in with, your plan, and the text of each crate: notes, chapters, titles, and captions.

Audio and video files, and the rendered clips, are deleted 14 days after the crate is ready. The written crate stays until the job is removed.

In demo mode, files are not sent to AssemblyAI, OpenAI, Stripe, Resend, or beehiiv. The sample transcript is used so the product can run without those accounts.

When those services are configured, audio goes to AssemblyAI for transcription, transcript text goes to OpenAI to draft the crate, payment details are handled by Stripe, and email addresses go to Resend or beehiiv only for the message you asked for.
